Certified Across the Products and Services We Deliver
Our team's certifications are current, independently assessed and held at the organisational level — not just by individual practitioners. Certifications are directly relevant to the roles and responsibilities of each Partner involved in product and service delivery. Each Partnership reflects a formal commitment to capability, training and delivery standards.
HKA's certifications relate to the services it provides for implementations (including configurations, integrations, data migration, training and support); business intelligence including AI-related services; digital adoption; digital transformation; and other specialist services. HKA Global Pty Ltd (ABN 75 085 532 047) has held independent certifications of its management systems for Quality, OHS/WHS and Environmental management for more than 15 years. Current certifications are for conformance to:
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard
- ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System standard
- ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System standard
PMWEB adheres to the NIST and OWASP standards for all aspects of software development, hosting and infrastructure. PMWEB holds independent SOC (System and Organisation Controls) SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 reports on its operations:
- SOC 1® Type 2 relates to the suitability of design and operating effectiveness of controls placed in operation
- SOC 2® Type 1 relates to the design of controls relevant to security, availability, processing integrity and confidentiality
- SOC 2® Type 2 relates to the design and operating effectiveness of controls relevant to security, availability, processing integrity and confidentiality
AWS provides IaaS for PMWEB SaaS delivery and self-hosted options using the AWS EC2 Cloud. Certifications held by AWS are extensive and include:
- ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management Systems
- ISO/IEC 27017 Code of practice for information security controls
- ISO/IEC 27018 Code of practice for protection of personally identifiable information (PII) in public clouds acting as PII processors
In Australia, the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) has awarded PROTECTED status to the AWS EC2 Cloud used for PMWEB SaaS delivery — the highest security certification available in Australia for a cloud service. Like PMWEB, AWS also holds current independent SOC reports for SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2, as well as SOC 3.
Government Accreditations and Industry Panels
HKA Tech holds active registrations with government and industry organisations across Australian jurisdictions — providing federal and state government organisations with the comfort that our credentials have been verified; and enabling local government agencies to engage us under established supplier arrangements without separate tender processes.
HKA is registered under the NSW Government’s ICT Services Scheme SCM0020 on both the Registered Supplier List and the Advanced Registered Supplier List – holding this registration for more than 10 years (since 2013), with registration currently valid until 28 February 2029. HKA’s registration is extensive, from Solution Architecture and Benchmarking; through Strategic Risk Management, Program Office Standards and Project, Program & Portfolio Management; to the latest categories of Cloud Applications, Cloud Hosting and Infrastructure and Cloud Support. HKA is registered in the Digital Transformation Agency’s Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) Software Licensing and Services (SLS) category as a supplier of Project and Portfolio Management software. This is a Standing Offer available to all Agencies through to 30 April 2027. HKA and PMWeb have also been included in the DTA’s Whole-of-Government Cloud Services Panel with effect from July 2019 – providing simple procurement access to Cloud Services for Agencies. Read more
HKA Tech was on the Victorian Government’s eServices Register, a list that was originally owned by the Department of Premier & Cabinet. The Register has transferred to Buying for Victoria. HKA registration categories included ICT Application Expertise, ICT Architecture & Design, ICT Benchmarking, ICT Business Process Expertise, ICT Cloud Services, ICT Industry Sector Expertise, ICT Learning Services, ICT Programs, ICT Risk Management, ICT Security Management, ICT Services Management, ICT Strategy & Analysis and ICT Systems & Solutions.
HKA Tech is on the South Australian Government’s eProjects Plus Panel. This Panel is an online facility established by the SA Government (State) to enable State agencies to procure project-orientated ICT services and cyber security services from pre-qualified suppliers using a standardised contract and related processes. The pre-qualification process involves an assessment of supplier capacity, capability, financial and insurance status. The eProjects Plus Panel can be used for in-scope projects and services from $700K to $4.4M (incl. GST), incorporating longer-term engagements such as application development and maintenance and software-as-a-service offerings.
HKA Tech is an accredited supplier of PMWeb SaaS for Local Government Procurement (LGP). All Councils in NSW do not need to go to tender for values greater than the tendering threshold (as they normally would be required to do) and may, instead, utilise supply arrangements coordinated by LGP. This provides savings in time and opportunity cost by allowing direct negotiation without having to go out to tender. More about LGP
