HKA Tech is in the unique position of not only providing PMWEB software and implementing the solution; but also being part of the global HKA organisation that is a recognised leader in all aspects of capital works projects. We can therefore speak with a great deal of experience when advising on not only the product itself and how to go about implementing it; but also the detail of running programs, projects and contracts in PMWEB on a daily basis.

Each implementation has required a thorough understanding of the Client’s Project Management Framework and the application of that framework to the opportunities available through the new system. These project management systems have operated throughout the whole project lifecycle, for both capital works and technology projects – from initial concept through to completion, commissioning and handover to “business as usual”.

Project Management Frameworks have ranged from those based on PMI PMBOK or Cabinet Office/OGC approaches (P3O, MSP, PRINCE2), to bespoke frameworks. Likewise, the detail of project management activities within the overarching framework has been accommodated in the end-solution, whether following traditional linear/waterfall or cyclical methodologies; or approaches such as Agile, Lean, Scrum, SAFe and Kanban.

Exposure to this broad range of clients and a corresponding broad range of approaches to project management and project management systems continues to provide both HKA and PMWEB with leading-edge insights that are applied to both product development and product configuration innovations.
